In human chemistry, Chanel Wood (c.1982-) is a Canadian writer and philosopher notable for her 2007 HCR theory employing article "A Question of Social Chemistry", on the subject of social chemistry, in which, after thinking about how a logical theory of "human chemistry" between people would be developed, outlined a combination lock theory of dating using a synthesis of Plato's first law of affinity, i.e. like attracts to like, atomic energy level model bonding theories, and need compatibility. Education
In 2013, Wood was studying psychology at the University of British Columbia.
